Which special education courses does APTTI offer?
Four online levels: Certificate (120 hours), Diploma (200 hours), PG Diploma (280 hours) and Integrated PG Diploma (540 hours).
What are the fees?
Certificate USD 250 / ₹15,000 + GST; Diploma USD 399 / ₹25,000 + GST; PG Diploma USD 475 / ₹30,000 + GST; Integrated PG Diploma USD 700 / ₹45,000 + GST. Confirm the total payable amount with admissions before payment.
What is the eligibility?
10+2 for the Certificate and Diploma; a bachelor's degree for the PG Diploma and Integrated PG Diploma.
How long do the courses take?
Up to 6 months for the Certificate, 10 months for the Diploma, 12 months for the PG Diploma and 18 months for the Integrated PG Diploma. Self-paced learners may finish sooner.
Are the courses RCI-recognised?
No. They are online professional development courses. They do not lead to RCI registration or qualify you as a licensed special educator. For RCI routes, see our page on becoming a special education teacher in India.
Who are the courses for?
Mainstream and pre-primary teachers, shadow teachers, learning support assistants, school leaders and parents of children with special needs.
Can I become a shadow teacher after the course?
Many schools and agencies accept SEN training for shadow teacher roles, along with a degree and experience. Employers decide; no job is guaranteed.
How are the courses assessed?
Multiple-choice questions at the end of each module, plus assignments; Diploma-level and higher learners also submit research and assignment work.
Is tutor support available?
Yes. Coordinators and tutors are available 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays and Saturdays (India time); longer academic discussions are by appointment.
When will I receive my certificate?
After you complete all requirements. APTTI's published information gives 30 to 90 days for dispatch; Indian learners pay no shipping charge.
Can I study from the UAE, Saudi Arabia or Africa?
Yes. The courses are online. International fees are listed in US dollars.
Does an application require payment?
No. The application form collects your details only; admissions then sends the next steps.
What if I need more time?
APTTI's published terms describe re-registration of INR 3,500 or USD 65 for a three-month extension. Confirm the current policy before enrolling.
Will the course let me diagnose or treat children?
No. Assessment and diagnosis are the role of qualified rehabilitation and clinical professionals. The courses help you observe, support and refer.
