Educational learning with clear professional boundaries.
APTTI's special education courses and this answer library support educational understanding. They do not replace qualified professional advice.
What the courses make you eligible for
Working as a regular educator who is knowledgeable about children with disabilities, managing children at home or in a classroom, working as a shadow teacher, and keeping up to date on developmental disabilities.
What they do not
Performing assessments or diagnostic tests, which are the role of qualified rehabilitation professionals, or working as a licensed special educator. APTTI does not provide government licences, and the courses are not RCI-recognised.
Employment
Employers set their own requirements. A certificate does not guarantee a job or salary.
Using the answer library
Adapt general suggestions to each child and setting, and seek professional advice for concerns about development, health or safety.
